Works I (2020)

"Sailor's Lament"

Photography based, mixed media works. 

Photo montage series composed of original photographic imagery. 

This process employs photo gel transfers applied to wood panels.

that serve as templates for large format prints.

Deconstructing and reconstructing interior and exterior spaces for the purpose of narrative exploration. 

The end result are a series of narrative works or "Visual Poems".

Works II (2018 - 2020)

"I alone Am Alive"

 

Photography based, mixed media works. 

Mixed Media photo montage series, composed of original photographic imagery. 

This process employs photo gel transfers applied to wood panels.

Deconstructing and reconstructing interior and exterior spaces for the purpose of narrative exploration. 

Non-traditional diptych, borrowing from the concept of the traditional Diptych. (Fusing the division between the two)

The end result are a series of narrative works or "Visual Poems".

Works III (2020)

"I'm Calling You"

A series of original self portraits from earlier projectsrevisited  

through new visual poetic explorations via photoshop techniques.

Narrative character studies saturated in Euro influenced romanticism. 

Works IV (2011 - 2016)

"Saint Vincent"

Repeated visitations with the one classic pose. (perhaps a nod out to Andy Warhol)

This series explores the passage of spirit body in a sate of quiet pause/reflection

At varying departure points. 

 

Departure becomes arrival all in a subtle motion forth  

The end works in service to the greater embrace of renewal. 

 

Original figurative photographs of muse reworked through photoshop 

Toward poetic altitudes.  

 

If poetry be the economy of words then images here 

to serve as full compositions.  

Works V (2011 - 2014)

"The Adam Works'"

 

Photo Odyssey in celebration of dance and environment, expressed through a classical ballet dancer moving in partnership with diverse natural and urban settings. 

The human form and spirit exploring and responding to discovered

landscapes, structures, atmospheric interiors .

The theatre of the body staged dramatically in collaboration between dancer and photographer.

WORKS VI (2006 - 2008)

"The Stranger Works"

 

Conceptual photography works based on mid to late 1800's Paris

and or London.  

The Characters featured in these works are born of literature, film, paintings, vintage photography and my own personal tales originating from the Bohemia of my earlier years in Montreal.

All photographic directions previously explored, recalled to surrender parts over toward a series of narrative montage works.
